I was pretty disappointed that the cameras were installed, but now we are running into electrical problems.
The electrical problems seem to span the entire community, and it needs to be fixed.
I'm starting to think that many homeowners and the converters themselves are realizing that there were scores of problems that hid just under the surface waiting to be uncovered. These problems came to fruition soon after the establishment of the community. Many of these problems can only be solved by the converter or the board. Ultimately, it is not up to the homeowners to spend tens of thousands of dollars to repair the electrical circuits. To compound the situation, 3 of the converters serve on the board, and they are scheduled to depart in November.
Had I known about all the electrical problem (and others), I would have thought twice about purchasing a home here. I would like to think that the converters would have thought twice also before making the decision to purchase and convert the community. Since the converters apparently didn't think twice, they are left with two ultimate choices. They can either bite the bullet, spend the money and make the necessary repairs to make good on their reputation. Or they can only do the minimum required to get by until November, and then hand over the responsibilities to the homeowner controlled board; possibly subjecting the community to more hardships.
I understand the buisness aspect of all this, and it is starting to appear like the homeowners are about to get the shaft.

Why? I agree with you on the second part of your comment.
Sorry that sounded confusing... I am more disappointed that the cameras aren't working due to the electrical problems.
I'm glad the cameras are here, i am a big proponent of them. Just bummed that we ran into this problem when it wasn't expected.
