It is not appropriate to notify residents of a water shut off through the blog and a few flyers taped to the mailboxes. Each resident should be notified individually through mail or at their doorstep. This is not the first time we have not been properly notified of a water shut off and it seems the HOA is doing a mediocre job again! Also why does the water have to be shut off for the entire complex to fix one unit? Are we not set-up to turn off one building at a time?? Lame!

Wow. You guys get notices that your water is being shut off?

They just do it at their leisure over here. So what if you are washing clothes, dishes...or yourself in the shower ;)

This is interesting...

If notifying residents about a water shut off via the blog is not appropriate...why would complaining about it here be?

Which do you see first? A notice ON a mailbox or a notice IN a mailbox?

any one know if the cameras are working and how has the monitors, a securty or a owner of a condo?

Batman,
The cameras are not working yet. We are having an issue with the power. This will be discussed tonight at the HOA meeting. You should drop by and check it out. The safety committee will be testing the cameras first then access will be given to homeowners in good standing with HOA fees.
