I forgot to post this in the recap of our past association meeting; when asked if we could finally take down the $200,000 for sale sign in front of the clubhouse, one of the members of the Converters said that we could not because they still haven't sold all of the properties. There are still 14 condos for sale. Some of the auction winners who were at the meeting were puzzled because they thought they picked up what was left. I know that the starting bid at the auction was $140,000 but I was interested in knowing how much some of them actually went for, would anyone like to share? It would be interesting to see how well the Converters did at this game of poker.

Looks like they're renting them out while waiting for someone to buy.
I can't believe they had to resort to this. For that price I'd rent in Irvine.
isn't there a rule against them renting, when I bought my place they told me none of the units were going to be rented out by the converters...I mean it okay if you're a homeowner and in the future you decide to rent it out but if they are going to rent 14 units out like an apartment then it causes concerns since most renters does not treat the property well. Frustrated with the issues that are coming up especially with the vandalism and the recent break-in at Unit A, regretful of buying at Monterey Villas now.
BOMBSHELL!!! Awesome point you made there mashimel27. If problems are coming up now, could you imagine how bad it would be with an apartment like atmosphere, can you say Cabrillo Palms anyone.
